• To ensure that service and repairs are carried out to the highest standards of quality possible to ensure stable production.
• To ensure efficient use of equipment.
• To ensure maximum effective use of equipment and labour, ensuring high productivity output, giving maximum availability.
• To ensure that mobile operators are working in an efficient and effective manner.
• To ensure that inspection regimes are correctly adhered and planned to reduce disruption in production.
• To ensure that the staffs are adequately trained to enable high levels of quality and efficiency.
• To ensure that Health Safety guidelines are adhered to within the Workshop environment.
• To ensure adequate maintenance of Workshop premises, tools, equipment and other materials.
• To ensure that vehicle records are correctly maintained and that files are updated and transferred on a timely basis.
• Responsible for supervision of staff under his control and certification of task performed by them.
• Ensures that testing, repair, overhaul and modification of Electrical components are performed in accordance with approved documentation, in a safe manner, meeting correct quality standards and being certified within the scope of Company authorizations.
