Job Description:

  • To ensure that airside safety is maintained and all activities are in compliance with company and the regulators procedures.
  • To provide RDM with Accident/Incident/Injury reports as required after full investigation.
  • To plan, co-ordinate, monitor and supervise and to provide all equipment for both airside and land side activities.
  • To ensure Equipment Operators, Drivers, Porter Drivers are fully briefed and aware of their responsibilities.
  • To ensure all vehicles are operated in a safe and competent manner.
  • To pro-actively ensure allocated GSE are serviceable and provided to customer airlines on a timely manner.
  • To report to RDM, HOO as required.
  • To inform GSE & VM regarding unserviceable unites and to ensure that unserviceable unites are taken off lines.
  • To ensure staff is trained to carry out their allocated duties.
  • To ensure that all services provided are recorded accurately for recharge.
  • To ensure all ramp service charge notes are complete with correct data on time and forwarded to accounts for recharge.
  • To ensure proper allocation of staff and equipment according to aircraft type and load.
