Job Description

• To ensure that quality is delivered to all customers of cargo across all areas of the company freight facility in a safe and professional manner.
• To ensure that company cargo complies with all government regulations and works closely with government departments.
• To be a main focal point to our airline customers to ensure that their needs are met.  
• To be able to provide accurate statistical data per airline on the number of shipments and tonnage that are handled through this facility.   
• To be responsible to ensure SLA's are met and that any service failures issued by the airline are correctly addressed and processes are implemented to ensure these failures are not repeated.  

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 8 years experience within cargo operations
• Minimum 6 years experience at management or Duty Manager Level
• Fully competent in Microsoft Products – Outlook/PowerPoint/Excel
• Able to work under pressure and deliver on set deadlines
• Educational certificate related to the field
• Able to work as part of  a team and lead a team of staff
• Diverse in being able to work with different cultures and back grounds
• Negotiation & Project management skills
• Enthusiastic & energetic
• Active listener
• Problem solver
